I would also add that Slingshot probably has more development time in on there smaller sizes since they test them in the gorge. At least that would make sense to me anyway

I was actually thinking about getting the 10m as I have just recently replaced both my light wind and high wind kites but I'm still looking for something in the middle.
I think for most riders 12 would pass for your lightwind rig. especially if you have big board you can use on the really lite days.

that would make sense. I've never flown one but the wainmann's look to be very low aspect which means a short wingspan for there size.
the shorter the wingspan the smaller the turning circle. generally speaking.

Great vid mate. I'm about your weight and have a 12 on the way. Looks like they have plenty of grunt and turn speed. How do you think they will go in the waves? Cheers

Great video! Like the self launch. 12m looks good in no white caps. Would like to know the wind speed and rider weight?

I weighed 195lbs was riding a Cabrinha Caliber 136 board and I think the wind started out a little lite. probably down in the mid teens and then it gradually built through the evening topping off somewhere in the 20-25mph range is my guess.
