  • Mary brought 2 turtle doves into the temple, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering read Luke 2:22-24 and then read Leviticus 12:2-8 which proves mary was a sinner...you can then read Matthew 1:24-25 where it states very clearly that joseph had sexual relations with mary after jesus' birth......."And knew her not till...." the word "knew" means sexual relations you can verify this in Gen 4:1,17,25...

  • @tario26 The doves do not mean she was a sinner; she was simply doing what was required by the Law. Note that Jesus Himself is baptized - and John specifically says He is not a sinner, but Jesus has it done anyway because that is what the Law demands. The sacrifice was required for ALL first-born sons, and the requirement says nothing about the sinfulness of the mother.

  • @tario26 "Until" does not prove they had sexual relations; elsewhere in the Bible it says Jesus will rule until He has made His enemies His footstool - does that mean Jesus will stop ruling? It does not. What that means is Jospeh had no relations with Mary during the period before Jesus' birth. It says nothing about after that.

The tradition of the Church (including the words of Martin Luther himself) is clear that Mary was sinless and she was perpetually virgin.

  • Mary was not chose by God, her son Jeasus was chose to die on the crost go to hell, make war with the devel get the keys on death and the grave came back to earth (alive) and walked to heaven. Yes Mary went to heaven but she is not on the thron, Jeasus Crist, our saver a the God ole Mighty Jeovia is on the thron not Mary, she was chosen to be Jeasus's mother and her job was only and i mean ONLY to cary Jeasus in her whon. Jeasus it the one you people should be talking about.

  • @123SethE I will first point out that, for a man telling us to talk about Jesus, you cannot spell His name right.

Additionally; of COURSE Mary was chosen by God. She was chosen to bear God in her womb. She was chosen from among all women throughout all time.

And we ARE talking about Jesus; we are talking about the Eucharist - which IS Jesus Christ.

  • And Mary was chosen for far more than just carrying "Jeasus in her whon" as you put it. Yes, she carried Jesus in her womb, but she also cared for Him, and loved Him, and fed Him, and taught Him. The Bible itself tells us He was obdedient to her. Remember; He carried out His first miracle because SHE asked Him to.

Mary is not God - but Mary is the most perfect of all creatures, and the one who first loved Jesus Christ. Anyone who does not honor her is simply rude and ignores Jesus.

  • The commentary on Our Lady being always most cherished in the heart of God for all eternity is especially beautiful

  • altough orthodox,we share the same conception about the eucharist and Theotokos.so i salute you guys

  • @ChadTheBerean Do you worship your mom because you love her? do you worship the U.S.A because you sing the National Anthem?

It's easy, Chad. Protestants really need to know the difference between "respecting" and "worshiping."

  • Devotion to Mary should lead to Worship of Jesus. If it doesn't one is doing something wrong. Mary was chosen to be the Mother of God! She was the first Tabernacle and as Catholic we can receive Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. One needs to read Matthew and Luke and reflect on Mary and her great veneration we Catholics have for her. It's frustrating where this idea of worshipping Mary comes from but I guess it's from a fundamentalist reading of the Bible, which is hard to overcome. But we try.

  • the video is amazing i am glad that there is a programme that comes forward with precept of Catholicism with such conviction. i really really liked and enjoyed this programmme immensely

  • @123SethE

I am going to ask you to actually READ the Bible. Every time you speak negatively about the Mother of my Lord, do you realize what you are actually doing? How do you feel when someone speaks against Your mother? How do you think our Lord feels? Remember, it was by her direction and compassion that He transformed water into wine. He said it wasn't his time yet. She corrected Him and said it was by putting Him on the spot (to use a modern term). And He obeyed her.

  • The saddest thing here is that we Catholics have to hear the Protestants belittle the importance of our Blessed Mother. If they looked at the Catholic Church and saw that the apostleship came directly from St Peter to the present day Pope as the true Church instituted by Jesus Himself. But they insist in adhering to their apostasy. MY Church is instituted by God, theirs by a heretical priest named Luther. As Jesus said, "There are none so blind as those who will not see"
