There was a time when every kid in America could do a little welding/carpentry/start a stalled engine/fix a simple electrical problem..etc..etc..these days only one thing comes to mind when they hear the word, "screw".

Thank you for posting this. I had an uncle who served on PTs in the Mediterranean. My uncle's squadron was actually gun boats -- they didn't have torpedo tubes. They had been dismounted in favor of guns. It's been too long; I don't remember how many .50 calibers my uncle said they carried along with a couple of 20MM aft, but it was a bunch. One thing I DO remember he told me was how LOUD the boat was at high speep with three Packard Merlins screaming.

Great vid! Thanks for posting it. It goes to show what Americans are capable of doing TOGETHER when we stop yelling at each other. I hope folks can remember that such working together is what has always made this country great. And I hope it doesn't take another Pearl Harbor for us to get that.
