I find it unbelievable that the host should have to ask the audience to give Lataji a standing ovation after that performance - especially when they are there to pay tribute to the legacy of her magical voice (which they were not expected to hear anyway that night). It's amazing she can still sing like that at her age. Incredible!

In case you didn't know, Urdu and Hindi are dialects of the SAME LANGUAGE, called HINDUSTANI, if you didn't know, go look it up in any linguistics book.  What is this stupid fuss about useless things? A language doesn't give status to anybody, artists give status to languages.
