5th Annual McKenzie River Wooden Boat Festival in Vida Oregon

Saturday April 24th, 2010 I visited the 5th Annual McKenzie River Wooden Boat Festival hosted at the Eagle Rock Lodge, on the McKenzie River, in Vida Oregon. I was there to capture only a few minutes of footage for a project I'm working on. Although I would have liked to of captured more, I wasn't prepared for the finicky weather which made it difficult for me to get the quality and quantity footage that I desired. I did however capture what I needed but, perhaps in the future I may be invited back to the McKenzie River Wooden Boat Festival to document the event properly. I overheard so many interesting stories and histories about the boats, the people that made the boats, and the people that own the boats. So very interesting.

This video represents a vignette of the day's activities. Sorry for the repeated footage but as I mentioned, I didn't capture as much footage as i would have liked.
