ケヤキの枝に産み付けられたカマキリの卵鞘を春先に採集。特徴的な形からチョウセンカマキリの卵鞘だろうと予想。ワンカップ酒の空き瓶に放り込んで室内保管していたら表面
Newborn nymphs of the narrow-winged praying mantis (Tenodera angustipennis). Unfortunately I missed the moment of their hatching. I should have kept the egg sac in a larger tank for clear views. Recorded on early-June, 2007 in Japan.

same i gave on one of my one it was half torn offand cut so i put it my mantis scrap container when i came back from school, there was 9 hatched. i couldnt believe it. now i have 4, the rest die cause they didnt eat
