@steroidsmakeyouwin Take a cycle or two? No thanks, I don't fancy hormone replacement therapy.
"OF COURSE ALISTAIR WOULD GAIN MORE MASS ON A BODYBUILDING PROGRAM" - AO would get to 3.7lbs per inch on a bodybuilding strength training regime because he's on the juice, as Dorian was. He's as big as Lesnar, who everyone and their dog knows was on HGH
-
@steroidsmakeyouwin "You start by arguing that he must have taken steroids because he is heavier than Dorian Yates was"
That's not what I said at all. I said, and i quote: "AO's packing as much mass as Dorian Yates in 1991". I never said "AO must take steroids because he's heavier". I'm alluding to the fact that in terms of lbs per inch they're in the same ball park (3.4 lbs vs 3.7 lbs per inch of body height). Good luck on hormone replacement therapy later on in life.

@BOZ11 PS the 3.7 to 3.4 lbs per inch does not work as a sizable comparison. A taller person will naturally have higher base weight from bone and organ mass alone. OF COURSE ALISTAIR WOULD GAIN MORE MASS ON A BODYBUILDING PROGRAM. You don't even know what your trying to argue anymore. You have got to be one of the most fucking annoying kids on here. Go bodybuild for a few years, take a cycle or two, and then tell me if you think Alistair does steroids. Until then, GTFO.

@BOZ11 Your making no sense, your argument is so skewed. You start by arguing that he must have taken steroids because he is heavier than Dorian Yates was and now that I point out your bullshit you change it and say he is not as muscular as Dorian but because he is a big man he must be on steroids. NEWS FLASH KID I take steroids, I'm 6' 4'' and 28 pounds heavier than Alistair. He has a natural gain appearance especially for his height. Stop jumping all over the place with your argument.
-
@steroidsmakeyouwin And I wasn't comparing the weight of a 5' 10" man with a 6' 5" man, since Overeem is of course heavier, but lbs per inch in body height, which 3.7 lbs per inch for dorian, and 3.4 lbs per inch for AO. Dorian was the best bodybuilder of his time, AO DOESN'T bodybuild, DOESN'T juice, and yet he's in the same ball park in terms of mass. Overeem would go up to 3.7 lbs per inch if he took dorian's training programme, easily. What now?

@steroidsmakeyouwin Lou weighed 285 lbs in competition, in 1975 (during Mr. Olympia) using steroids. AO weighs 263 lbs even though he's not bodybuilding, is supposedly not on the juice, and is pretty lean at around 10% body fat. AO was a skinny light heavyweight in Pride with meso/ectomorphic shape, compared with Lou's pure meso, or meso/endomorphic shape yet there's only around 20 lbs between them. AO is as big as Lesnar, who built his mass using human growth hormone; he was arrested for it.

@BOZ11 The best part is bodybuilders nowadays get much bigger than Lou or Dorian did back in the day. The reason is because bodybuilders today are much more knowledgeable and have better steroids. If Alistair used steroids he would be to big. Stop hating on people who can get big naturally because you don't understand how physiology works. Go back and sit in the corner kid, you just got burned.

@BOZ11 Thank you for proving my point that you COMPLETELY lack any sort of knowledge. Dorian Yates is 5' 10'' and Alistair Overeem is 6' 5'' you idiot. This equates to Alistair having less overall muscle than Dorian, that is a huge height difference which makes the weights non comparable. If you were going to use a comparison you should have used Lou Ferrigno who is also 6' 5''. Lou weighed over 300 pounds during his off seasons.

@steroidsmakeyouwin and an even bigger factor is that BB's go down to around 5% body fat. AO is fully hydrated with around 10-12% body fat. So his muscles don't pop out as much as a bodybuilder, but the mass is very much like a bodybuilder. Are you blind?
-
@steroidsmakeyouwin AO's packing as much mass as Dorian Yates in 1991. It just isn't immediately obvious since MMA fiighters are fully hydrated the whole time, whereas the BB's we see are dehydrated. You don't know what you're talking about.
@YoureAlwaysRight It's against the rules. Logically we don't want to think of Overeem as a cheater. So long as he passes his drug tests I'm going to dismiss steroid accusations. Noone has shown me the science that prove positive indicates that he must be juicing. So long as it isn't a real controversy where he is being suspended for taking PEDs I don't care. I watch Overeem compete to see him in badass fights not worry about what he's putting in his body.

@deathlord619 You are correct and I ran the numbers to see what the rate would be for his weight gain before he reached 250. It was about 2 pounds per month which is exactly what studies show an elite athlete can gain naturally. I don't care what these steroid accusers say. Science is more credible than their speculations. Science backs the plausibility of Overeem's gains and he is passing his drug tests. That is good enough for me.
