Its a frustrating conundrum. How does the military do its job in a day and age when most people in first world countries no longer truly understand the need for the military. It seems like for the most part various militaries have opted to limit/control classic behaviours; tattooing, drinking and (for the most part) harmless initiations. Todays soldier has to be stoic, healthy and unassuming. Tattooing, regardless of content, is tabooed because is could potentially be mis-associated.

Fuck this. Theres a thing called long sleeve shirts. Who the fuck is gonna see it if I have a long sleeve shirt on? I got turned away the other day because of this and now I can't enlist.

The thing is that it must be able to be covered up by a short sleeve shirt or shorts. if they arent covered by that then you must be able to cover them with one hand. I would know I leave in a month. haha
