  • batawagama is amazing. i am still going there and every time i go there the better it gets. every year that i go, at the end of the week i want to cry. i know it is bad but when it is time to go at the end of the week when i see my parents i just want to run in the other direction and hide so i can stay there longer. i plan on being there until i have a family of my own. I LOVE BATAWAGAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

  • Love and miss this place! So many good memories. I hope to send my kids here some day!

  • I spent many weeks at Batawagama from age 8-16. I remember Brian and Susie Schulze, Paula as my counselor, Lorna as my swim instructor and Bob as my brother's counselor. Lars was an amazing man and could play the saw. Lou Frisk was amazing on the piano. Every summer I wish I could still go to camp. Any thoughts about a "Seniors Week"?

  • Down the road a piece in the middle of the woods...such wonderful memories. Thank you to those that posted this video.

  • Brings back such fond memories! I attended Camp Batawagama from the ages of 9-16. I absolutely loved it and have said from the time my kids were born that I will be sending them back to the U.P. to go here!

  • I am so grateful that all 4 of our daughters were able to go to camp for a couple of weeks every summer from ages 9 thru 16, and then they all were lucky enough to work at camp for a couple summers after high school. They loved Camp BATAWAGAMA and learned so much from their experiences there!!! Thank You!!!

  • Went to this summer camp every year from age 9 to 14. One of the best experiences of my life.
