Housatonic Council, as part of the Boy Scouts of America organization is a great asset here in the valley. Providing youth with opportunities to respect and appreciate all levels of society and nature as well as training and development of leadership and character have bred many great men and women that benefit all people in and out of the valley. United Way has helped tremendously in helping provide this program that in the end comes back to the youth and all members of the community.
