A full pound of Fe3O4 thermite on a Yankee candle that had burned down. I also stuck a broken glass...thing in there to try and melt it down. It just popped the glass and melted some of it down.

This was again lit using my no-fail ignition system(no it's not just a fuse or magnesium ribbon). Ask if you're interested.

  • I use a mix of magnesium chips and black powder. It just takes a small pile of Mg on top of the thermite with a small amount of bp on top of that. Then I use the fuse to light it and give myself time to safely retreat.
