When was this invented? Joeseph Reid made a oilfeild engine with this design back in the 1890`s the charging cylnder ran on a crank pin otuside of one of the fly wheels

Scuderi fires after first & second crossover valves closes. As far as I understand, the Dolly cycle has a central combustion chamber (which looks to me as significant a down side) while the Tourengine fires through an open crossover valve.

How does this engine operate different than the Scudderi engine, other than rotary in motion?

The Scuderi Engine fires after TDC. No other engine today fires after TDC because fuel does not burn instantaneously and must be given time to burn. We can not figure out how Scuderi Group plans to defy physics but in our engine the fuel mixture is allowed to burn 30 degrees before being opened to the power piston. So when the combustion chamber opens up to the power piston, the fuel mixture has had time to burn and the full potential of the combustion power begins to force the piston down.
