  • 1. About this being a saddening situation. Of course it is but that is life and often people do not realize what medical professionals do to selflessly help others. 2. I don't think J&J is trying to encourage superstition/religion, only showing that we are human. The charm was obviously something important to the client or it wouldn't have been in his pocket & so worn. She said what J&J trying to convey and she, along with many other PEOPLE have beliefs that get them through the hard days.

  • @graceundsrvd08 I think that is an excellent perspective. Thank you!

  • Sometimes, I just need to remind myself that God called me into this noble profession...stress & all...it's what I do...& I am proud of that.

  • @artenjoy We couldn't be more thankful for the wonderful things you do! God bless you!

  • Rob, this and Name Game are fantastic, but the triptych won't be complete without the 92 year old Danish lady with the open window. Don't make me start a petition! LOL

  • @MissyHolland It's still up! I'll send you the url.

Are you serious? Television will always have something that is in relevance to you. The whole world isn't going to stop and cater to your emotional needs.

Death happens, it sucks. J&J didn't make this to make people upset, and they shouldn't have to worry about that. If you can't accept their death then I suggest you stop watching TV (which is full of drama similar to this) and talk to someone.

  • I'm a nurse and this video about sums it all up for me. I love every one of the J&J nurse campaign commercials. Thank you J&J for helping people understand who we are as nurses (and people). Your commercials and videos make me proud to be what I am!

  • @GoatManager easy money? spend one day in the ER and you will see just how "easy" the money is. This is one of the most ignorant comments I have ever read.

  • Nice to see a good luck charm instead of a religious medal. Sure, there's some luck involved - we know this, but we also already know that prayer is useless for healing (show me the properly done studies to prove this otherwise). So, good job, but JNJ should not have indicated that there's no humanity in medicine but only in nursing care. In fact, everything that led up to this man resting comfortably was created and researched by very caring people.

  • too bad most of the nurses today only do it for the easy money.

  • These make me cry.

  • Once again no thanks for EMS...

  • The nurse gave his lucky charm back but kept his keys and nickel...

  • Oh, and to all of these people that don't think that faith plays a part in healing, you obviously do not work in the medical profession. I have had many patients that simply ask me to sit and pray with them. I had a patient yesterday who, no matter what she did, had her rosary in her hand. It may not physically heal them alone but it does give them hope that things will get better. Believe what you want, but until you've been there you have no idea what faith can do.

  • Nurses' care is multidimensional... It includes spirituality...of course I'm not talking about ONLY religion per se.
