  • Are the Maxims dated anywhere and do they have seral numbers?

  • @garandthumb1941 Some do and some don't. The Russians didn't start adding dates on the Maxims till after WW2 started, at least from all the one's I have seen. They had serial numbers on the side plates at first then later they, and the captured guns from the Finns, used electric pencil added numbers (really ugly) before putting the guns in storage after the war.
