Hope she comes soon. I wouldnt know how it felt to wait for me to go into labor. I was induced with my first child..It wasnt bad it went by super fast. And i think it is super awesome how you have family traditions :-) good luck

Thanks! I think these little traditions are pretty neat too, it's just that I've been so westernized and my family is so far away, I don't know how much I'll be able to carry them out. Anyway, I'm glad that your induction wasn't long, how many hours?

You will have your baby soon. Sometimes it feels like I'll be pregnant FOREVER! I'm due this Saturday, and I'm pretty sure I'll be overdue like you, but remember you are sooo close that your little angel will be in your arms in just a few days! Good luck and keep us updated. Thanks! At this point, I feel like it's so normal to be pregnant and that this is how things are supposed to be...lol. Good luck with everything too! I'm hoping you don't go over, it's a terrible feeling to be consumed with so much anxiety and frustration! Have a safe and easy delivery!

You so do NOT look like poo, youre very pretty. I think you should listen to your mom especially with the hot water, my parents are west Indian and have very similar traditions and they do liver longer healthier lives than we westerners... hot water actually cools you down quicker than cold water.... try it for a while anyways

YUP i am STIIIILLLLL pregnant. and doing okay at distracting myself from the excitement/anxiety/feelings associated with being past my due date. Just gotta find things to do other that think about it. I have an appointment today... I'm sure he will talk about induction this time... but you know how i feel about that! They say the baby lets off some hormone to start labor when his/her lungs are mature enough... just what i heard... You don't look like poo BTW. xoxoxo Judy!

Are you vietnamese? Cuz I'm vietnamese and my mom are making me do all of the things that you said about warm water and stuff. Oh and I also cant wait for your baby girl to be here! I'm on my 39 weeks right now and getting very tired ... but cant wait :)

I walk in the park about 2 or 3 time per week and I also have those pain on my right side it worry me too...but im going to my doc on monday and ill make sure i ask about it.

anyway stay strong and she could b here any moment now :D

total was like 10 hours but i sleep threw the whole thing till an hour before i had him ( i had an epidural). I know how you feel i dont have any family near me all i have is my husbands family.
