This is a great series, but because of the sync problem, it is really unwatchable. It distorts the whole excellence of effort of many talented people. Unless it is fixed, respect for such fine work of art, ought to prompt the poster to take off u-tube in its present form. Period.

I loved this like I loved the entire series. But the twelve second out of sync between the audio and the visual is distracting.

I know, I'm really sorry. I have no idea why this happened. I followed the same procedure to upload the entire series, and for some reason some episodes turned out with the audio out of sync. If you know how to correct this, or how to prevent it please let me know.

It should be stressed that the TV series I Claudius was based on two books: I Claudius which is about the Caesars up to the point of Caligula's assassination, and Claudius The God, which takes the story forward through the reign of Claudius, but also tells the story of Herod Agrippa, who is not mentioned in the first book until near the end.

This is the TV drama series against which all others are measured. All studio based, no big scale film locations, and utterly magnificent.

This must be the best of the entire series. Almost every second of it is fine. The mix of plot lines, with the betrayal of Herod and Messalina -- its just superb. The acting by the two top imperial advisers is wonderful.

I love that scene just great. I watched this DVD set about 20 times in one year LOL Never really saw a show quite this good. Star Trek maybe in some ways was the closest thing.

We're watching this series in my Latin class... it's probably the best part of the week. We only have one more episode to go, but I just wanted to see this last scene again, it was too crazy :O

Even though Livia was involved in much more deceit and awfulness, there was something compelling and almost enjoyable about her evilness, whereas Messalina invokes nothing but pure hatred and disgust!
