Toy Poodle named Ruby 14 years old dog needs help

Ruby is a very special dog. For so many years he was very healthy. He could not stop to play just to make me happy. Now he is sick . Heart disease. He is taking a lot of medication. He can not sleep.He can not see . He doesnt play any more. Ruby came to my life when I was in need for a friend. Now years passed by Ruby needs friends . Please help me to save Ruby"s life .Every day I tell Ruby somebody will help !!! And we are waiting...We keep ours hope up . Weeks passed by and Ruby still holding ...He is in a special diet with organic food ... We are trying any thing to help Ruby....

i had a toy poodle also.. n he also having cough, try to open ur house windows let the wind running. i think it will be more better. let Ruby drink more water, u can also make honey drink for him, but not too sweet.

It soounds like Ruby is having seizures. Has a vet actually checked that? There are different medications that you can try that will make him happy and playful again. You might need only 1 or maybe 2 at most..... what other symptoms does he have?

One week ago we went to the vet and he told me nothing more can be done . Ruby still eating, drinking, but he is coughing a lot than he cries and than pass out ...He cries so sad before he pass out. Ruby has high blood pressure and Ruby is getting blind.

Our toy poodle(14 years old) started coughing a lot 1 month ago also. Vet said our dog has heart murmur( the valves don't close completely) and that this is causing water in the lung. The water in the lung causes cough. He is on diuretic 6mg for 2 weeks now and he stopped coughing. He just took a ultrasound exam for his heart. He will be on medication for his heart also.
