I agree with you that you should make yourself the number 1 priority in your life, but you have to have some give and take in a relationship, if someone isn't worth maybe rearranging your plans once in a while then why be in a relationship in the first place? And I have to completely disagree with the "hard-to-get" thing... when you find someone who you're compatible with (and trust me, it takes some waiting) then there will be no need for game-playing.
