@1983parrothead Dude, can you tell me where you got this info? I always wanted to know the story on how the KOF originated. I'm also working on a article right now and I can't find any history behind KOF.

@Jobocan:Ok...It would be nice to tell us what its called.

When Ryo Sakazaki was added from the Art of Fighting series to Fatal Fury Special, this lead Capcom into adding Akuma in X-Men: Children of the Atom. Next, Ryo's FFS appearance caused SNK to create The King of Fighters '94, the first cross-over, modern-fighting game representing four SNK franchises, plus some exclusive characters. The KOF series caused Capcom to merge X-Men: CotA and the Street Fighter Alpha series into X-Men VS. Street Fighter, the beginning of their VS. Capcom series.

I just received the game today (ordered it 2 weeks ago for 11$). It's really fun, and it's a lot harder than I expected. The gameplay is nice and smooth, the level design is nice, the challenge is good and overall I'm really enjoying it.
I highly suggest this game to any retro gamer.

Well the first metal gear was not originaly on the NES but on the MSX with a half assed port.

Looks like Akane makes a cameo (so I assume Hikaru also makes an appearance at a point in this game).

Good Job!
I always enjoy your videos.
Great season. This season finale was a little disappointing. I mean, it reviewed the game just fine, but I found a dearth of your trademark antics. ;)
I'm having trouble finding any references outside your video to a Wai Wai World Mahjong. Is it on MSX2 or PCE or something else? I'm fairly certain it's not on Famicom, but I could be wrong.

Actually, the mahjong game was for the MSX2. It was called 'Hai no Majutsushi'. It was released in 1989.
