When I first saw this I felt that it was begging for a particular song. Soooo.....
A BBC II segment. The clip has been shortened and a little music added.
Stephen Fry and zoologist Mark Carwardine head to the ends of the earth in search of animals on the edge of extinction.
In New Zealand they are on a journey to find the endangered kakapo, a fat, flightless parrot .
