Mike Agnes, Editor-In-Chief of Webster's New World Dictionary, announces 2008's Word of the Year: overshare. Agnes explains why "overshare" was selected and presents real-life examples of oversharing (and its consequences) from passersby in Washington Square Park, NYC.

I can't believe that the Editor-in-Chief of this dictionary mispronounces the word minutiae --but he does.
It's not muh-noo-shee-AY because the last syllable should not rhyme with bay. It should rhyme with by.
(Some dictionaries also allow the last syllable to rhyme with be. But not bay!)
