This is a short video of Elsinore Utah's Heritage Days in 2007. A great event, but not for our little chorus. We were told we would have a sound system and keyboard, and that we would need to sing for about 45 minutes. When we arrived the sound system was over at the BMX track, the chairs were put away, and no keyboard. Not to worry, we persisted. We could still perform. But then someone from the nearby cowboy poetry stage asked if we would sing quietly so we wouldn't bother the cowboy poets. Things weren't looking good. Finally they realized it wasn't going to work and asked if we would rather pass on the performing. It was for the best. The songs we had were mostly acapella songs that didn't fit the cowboy/western theme. They tried, we tried, but next year we would need a whole new group of songs to actually perform here. Best left to the cowboy poets and cloggers I think.
