@mr010tommy010 i must have mistyped in one of my vids i never had the 1700, i had a kicker 750.1 on those two 15 ' L7's then put the 2100 on them. the 2100 is a great amp and im sure the 1700 would be almost the same. usually at that power level a couple hundred watts usually cant be distinguished. thats why even though my subs call for 2400 right now im not gonna switch to the brz2400 cause the difference will be insignificant but hifonics is making a 3000rms mt olympus amp coming out in june.

i think i had just turned the truck off. because i had a serious alt and battery on it so it must have been that i just turned it off. excessive amperage alternator and kinetik 2400 battery

yea 2 gauge would be alot better, i use 0 on mine, that tells you alot about how big it is. 4 would probably be able to hold up in there(it does have large opening) but the main concern is you will only be able to run only so much power through the 4 gauge.

@odd i got 0 guage running and had 12 guage speaker but as far as the remote ive always used what ever came with the kit usually like 16 or 18 gauge
