This begins our very successful chase, and was the first tornadoes we caught of the day. We were along I-29 with the vehicle facing north and we're facing west and southwest when I notice the RFD notch coming in the back side. This catches my eye, and soon enough...some of the first tornado touchdowns occur of the day. I was originally cautious about calling in the report thinking it was a gustnado, but while we were watching it I became more and more convinced it was more than that. Enjoy the video! Shows the huge amount of rotation in the storm this day. Soon after this moment is when we catch the Mapleton, IA EF-3 tornado...while this one was an EF-0
