Check out this video for a better test with the same camera: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZYsQGRB3y0

We tested the HVX with the adapter for 35mm SLR lenses, I believe we used a 50mm here. We shot it 1080/24p on DVCPRO HD straight to a a firestore. This camera is amazing. Once you get all the accessories on there, it becomes a huge camera, at least twice the weight.

  • This is the film that made me buy my hvx and the redrock

  • Aww. That was actually kind of a sad short film. Love the ending, dude. Idk why but it was awesome.

  • are u using the auuto setting cuz its re focussing in the end idk but check out ur footage

  • Yesss.

  • @rubent100 the "200" released in 2005 and the "200a" relased in 2008 which features improved CCDs and an adjusted lens. These changes improved image quality in addition to providing a wider angle of view (:

  • Whats the diffference between the HVX200a and the HVX200?

  • Very good steadycam work, reminds me

of the Bourne movies, nice editing, and nice foley!

  • It's well worth it to spend time with the camera's manual settings and utilize the 24p mode.

  • REALLY cool shots in your footage and your use of HD is pretty cool. But wouldn't you say your shutter speed is a bit high?

  • yeah I was just yankin yur chains :p
