Chainchoking - A Proof of Concept and Introductory Video

The discussion of Chainchoking has become increasingly volatile and difficult to summarize in literally the past few days since I uploaded this video. In a way, though Chainchoking CERTAINLY persists as a viable concept both theoretically and practically, this video is already outdated/incorrect in some of its information. As a result, I added some lengthy, unsightly annotations towards the middle of the video to attempt to correct some verbage/conceptual errors.

No description I could write here would truncate the information contained in the thread, so just head over there to really get down to business. :)

Please Note: Like my other videos, this is about 90% informative and 10% practical. Treat it as an instructional video, not a cut-and-paste-now-my-Ganon's-better video. Additionally, I am aware there are a handful of moments in the video where MK could easily escape the Chainchoking. This is partly due to the fact that MK is not one of the easier characters to Chainchoke, but really is just due to my input error. Chainchoking is not particularly easy, but conversely it's not impossible either. Practice, practice, practice.

Melvins are f*cking brutal. When I play on wifi, I usually turn on just SFX and put Melvins, Om, Sleep or some other doom metal band on. It makes me play that much more brutally.

Only thing about the Metaknight spike, metaknight can fly right back up after he is hit by the throwdown choke.

I'm not sure what percentage is necessary to finish the job. These are the problems we face every time we fight someone with God Tier recovery. I've double meteor spiked MKs at medium percentage and they can still recover. LOL. It's all part of the fun.

@DIsturbios1234 Far as I know, all you do is just use side-B when airborn and if you connect, it performs the spike.

Also known as the "Ganon-cide", if I remember my terms correctly.

@gowdmc you cant tech out of flame choke, some characters can roll away faster but it can't be teched

wait, besides the opponent rolling to the edge, couldnt they also get away by useing gua repeatedly so our sheild eventually breaks, which would mean we also have to master perfect sheilding every gua's hits

I usually prefer to perform an attack depending on how he gets up:

-attack: jump + dair/fair or shield + jab

-back: back smash

-forward: run and dash attack or warlock kick

-just get up: same as attack or grab or side b.
