Historic map generates more controversy for Hungarian Presidency

At the beginning of the month the Hungarian government came under fire on a number of policy decisions including their new media laws, and possible competition law violations. One thing that passed off seemingly without event was the redecoration of the Justice Lipsius, EU Council building in Brussels.

That was until closer inspection of the newly laid carpet revealed a map of greater Hungary for 1848. Not controversial? Well taking Viktor Orban's governments actions in the last week, as they offered Hungarian citizenship to ethnic hungarians living in surrounding countries, the map, which depicts these regions at a time when they formed part of Hungary's empire, could be slightly more controversial than first thought.

@chosenone27990 Please understand my words as it means ok?Dont mash up the tyranny of the habsburgs with the Hungarians!But i explain to you!After the turkish era the habsburgs took over the Hungarian Kingdome and opressed its people!Yes that means not only Magyars where oppressed but also poles,croatians,slovaks,serbs,­russins,romanians(vlachs) where in the same situation!This is a fact!So i asked that dont mix the austrian oppression and tyranny to look like Hungarians are responsible for it!

@chosenone27990 Let me say something about this old propaganda of yours on "forced hungarization"!I asking you!If you live in a country which called Hungarian Kingdome what would be the national language?Some sort of slavic(Polish or Czech,Slovak)or Serb maybe?German or Russian?Romanian for god sake??No way!This country called formerly Hungarian Kingdome because Hungarians living in it!And the language cannot be else then Hungarian ok!This is not clear to you? :D
