The DUMB Right believe that it was a snide comment on Alaskan governor Sarah Palin.
The context of the words flew into overdrive and Republicans urged the Obama campaign to apologize to Governor Sarah Palin.
In Norfolk, Virgina, Barack Obama acknowledged the controversy and dismissed it as "phony outrage" and stated that he had "enough" of the swift-boat style politics that divides our nation.
The Daily Kos posted a rebuttal and called The McCain Campaign hypocrites.
They posted McCain's daughter Meghan and a 2007 video of John McCain's reference to Hillary Clinton and Rick Renzi, an Arizona Republican Congressman. Mike Huckabee, former presidential candidate defended Obama.
