hi, your prescription is almost the same as mine, so I just want to know, have you ever tried hi-index glasses, were they relatively thinner, cause I have spent a lot of bucks buying such but they are never thinner than the regular ones...

please do reply...

maybe your frame size is big or you have small PD. if so, even you used high index glasses, then your lenses can't be very thinner .

Wow all this time i thoight my vision was bad mine is 60/60 its truly not that horrible but i cant look across my room without my glasses utherwise its blurry but i can do fine witout em

I don't know if this helps. Those were my "glasses" some time ago. I had "cataract surgery", which changed my refractive state from -8 diopters to +3/4 diotpers. So it is an "ill wind" that does not blow some "good". Thanks,

@zululu2222 what did they said about wearing contact lenses and your high pressure? Are they bad for your eyes health? I don't have glaucoma but my eyes feel painful when i wear them..

@Koroush51 because of the glaucoma problem they said that if you do laisk you could lose your whole vision because of the high pressure .. not just a one doctor but many said that .

one of them said if you can control your pressure you can do it but with risk .

so i dont want to take this risk .. my vision is good although i used glasses

i dont know about other countries but here in Saudi Arabia no way to do it .

i have glaucoma so i cant do LASIK

and my glasses are little bit thick .. but i dont know how to make it thinner

My first glasses, long over due, at age 12 or 13, ... well, could not see the chart much less the E at the top. NO family connection to this genetically, but have a first cousin my age, that is also extremely myopic. I am now a -10 or so, would be worse if I'd not gone from soft contact to gas perms years ago.
