Kayak Trip Around Lyal Island - Bruce Peninsula

Thorncrest Outfitters in Southampton and Tobermory offer guided kayak trips and instruction. Here is a new trip for us beginning in the 2011 season that guides paddlers in sea kayaks for a circumnavigation of Lyal Island and the surrounding waters. Lyal Island is located on the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario Canada near the small settlement of Stokes Bay.

This trip is about 16-18km on the water with some instruction element to begin the day and is suitable for beginner or intermediate paddlers.
