@Purplesnake41 That was my point Satch is mainly an instrumental artist and Blackmore isn't that was my point. I don't compare them 2 me there is no comparison. Its every1 else on here making the comparison not me so direct you comments at all the people saying Blackmore is better what a joke. I'd like 2 see Blackmore try to play Crushing Day or Mystical Potato Groove Thing. Where has Blackmore been 4 the last 10 years??Has he even put out anything worth listening 2?Satch is still goin strong.

If blackmore is better than Satriani, then why is Joe Satriani the best selling rock instrumental guitarist of all time and NOT blackmore. Surfing with the Alien is multi platinium. Does blackmore even have an instrumental album that he released???
