Sophie Monk
Released March 31, 2003

"Get the Music On" is a popdance song by Australian singer Sophie Monk, and was the second single from her debut album Calendar Girl (2003). It was co-written and produced by Ray "Madman" Hedges (who previously worked with Monk on the Bardot single "I Need Somebody").

The single debuted at number 11 on the ARIA Charts in April 2003 and peaked a week later at number 10. The music video presented a more raunchier image, compared to her previous single. Monk co-wrote the b-side "Shake".

  • catchy tune!!

  • I hate generic music. No innovation, no soul, no individuality, no talent... Just because you have a nice body doesn't mean you should be a singer...

  • ella pudo besar a travis barker!

  • Yes she looked good but right now its defenetly not the same animore

Her lips has botox and on her face everywhere

  • I remember Video Hits looking like that!!! :D

  • I love Sophie! She had said a few years ago she was recording a new album, but nothing has been released. Check out her previous band Bardot they have two albums one called Bardot the other is called Play It Like That. Does anybody know where I can find her auditions for Popstars? I have the VHS tapes but they are European and I live in America. Plus, I have a BluRay now. ;)

  • Is Sophie still recording music? I like her, she's very much like the other Sophie on the scene, Ellis-Bextor. Very mature danceable music, while being catchy at the same time. How well did this do in Australia and did it ever cross over to Europe?

  • Damn, she broke that mirror with her back, kinky >=)
