  • I've read all those books

    they are true epicness

  • @MisWillo I know! Excellent stuff.

  • if we keep banning and censoring we are going to have A society explained in Fahrenheit 451

  • @anotherlonelyheart1 Yeah! Too bad not everyone gets to read Fahrenheit 451 because some people have had it banned...

  • I think the reason that books are banned is because society is afraid. Everything is fear based. We want to avoid anything that could imperfect, or tarnish our lives. We don't want to talk about drugs, sex, homosexuality, sexuality, abuse, "offensive" language... this is a problem, and banning books is not a legitimate solution, it's contributing to the problem.

  • @lemonsnlimes333 Exactly! Censorship doesn't solve problems; it just keeps people from talking about them.

  • @VCAndrewsForever I don't know. It's sad.

  • Why do books get banned? :(

  • @MrMatt027 Thank you for your wonderful comments! I agree that we are so lucky to live in America where we have the freedom to read whatever we like. Hurray for the ALA!

  • @inferiortechnology Thank you so much for the encouragement! :)
