I used to spend ages there when I was a kid - my brother, my nanny and me in a beach hut.... Those were the days where you could step out from a beach hut straight onto the sand!

you have shown all the bad bits of the beach well here i will correct u the rocks stop the erosion and this vid makes the beach look bad cuz theres no sunlight and belive me the beach in the sun is lovely and if you go to the beach now they have improved it im not being mean its just ur trying to make our town look like a bad place to go but actually
it is sooooo lovely and there are a lot of facilatiyes.

I remember when you could step from the promenade on to the beach - and sand covered that pipe. Then Dept of Environment replaced the groynes with concrete blobs, and the beach disappeared. Felixstowe people will not complain, probably because they know the council will do nothing.

With respect, if you choose to live on the North Sea coast, you have to expect a bit of longshore drift. If you fear for the life of your 2 year old, then maybe you should take her to the park rather than the beach.

The rusty old exposed pipe is adjacent to BROOK Lane, it carries the brook water which is open and contaminated and I would not want any of my kids to play with it..

I don't think those pipes are sewage pipes as a lot of people first think. It seems to be run-off water from the land.
