@userduuude Go buy a regular banana at walmart and then buy an organic banana from whole foods. The taste difference is obvious. Some things like apples don't taste different but there is no pesticides or genetic altering to your food.

organic does not mean anything, its a scam, the USDA is owned by monsanto and most whole foods imports are from china, imported foods are not checked for pesticides (roundup). look on the back of the package... in small print its all right there, whole foods is a lie

Clean chemicals like sewage sludge(banned in organic)?November, 1990 edition of the United States Federal Register, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) had this to say of sewage sludge: “Typically, these constituents may include volatiles, organic solids, nutrients, disease-causing pathogenic organisms (bacteria, viruses, etc.), heavy metals and inorganic ions, and toxic organic chemicals from industrial wastes, household chemicals and pesticides.”

Certified Naturally Grown is regulated among the farmers themselves and is better than organic(IMO). Also be weary of bottom feeder shell fish etc, that fished out of the Pacific. From LA South there are still traces of DDT along the ocean floor.

I'm vehemently opposed to GMO!! I exhort everyone who cares about their health and the natural environment to buy organic!! The government is aiding and abetting pernicious corporations and businesses who think only about monetary gain...and contaminate the world's natural resources and pollute the environment for profit.
