@makouse to my surprise I actually liked the flick. it would have been better as a regular TV show or a Syfy mini-series. There are several storyarcs to cover there. Fall of New Shangai, Derazi's past with his crew (Especially Markus with Contessa), the clones revolt and the Konstructs's growing dissensions with the Nephilim. the Cromagnon DNA part made me wonder if they didn't read either MacLeod's novels or Eclipse Phase's Sunward guide

same here...it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be...with a bigger budget and some extra writing to smooth out the some of the plot-related WTF-ness, I can see this being a sci-fi classic
