@Fennelli940 I see what you mean. Thats the part where the keeper deflects the on-target shot (which then bounces off the crossbar) Yes, it was a good setup, shot and then save.

Who cares. Its only junior football.
Australia will kick off its World Cup campaign against Germany on the 13th of June, followed by Ghana on the 19th. Our final group game will then be against Serbia on the 23rd of June, in what could prove to be a do or die clash

After he told me this it gave me confidence and i came off my line with lots of confidence. and my strength its coming of my line for 1v1. But for that 2nd goal to. that goal keeper has to be brave and try guess where its gonna be kicked, you cant just stand there. for the 1st goal the keeper needed to slide in or possiably stay abit more back, wait for a big touch and come out

@GKEPR Should he have come out to meet the player that received the cut-back ball? Possibly?
Its a little hard to tell from the camera angle.
It was really the turn over the started it all. The defence was left wide open for the goal scorer to run in.
I really would like to give the players NAMES. If you haven't guessed it, not many videos feature the young guys... but if you want to remain hidden from view, by all means, ignore the opportunity.

Im a goal keeper. We make mistakes but my coach told me after a error i made when i was 13. You cant be blamed for every goal. As long as you put in your effort i dont mind.

GKEPR. Normally I try not to express opinions, preferring to let the video footage do the talking, but today I was chatting with an ex NSL keeper, so I'll quote him. He said "A good keeper (or player) is one that is reading the play. Making judgments and adjustments, adapting to the situation. One fantastic save or one terrible mistake doesnt count."

The Institute Challenge is a battle between the State Institutes of Sport. Because of the swine flu scare, The NSW and SA institutes dropped out and were replaced by the VSSSA (Vic U19 Schoolboys State Team) and the AFS (Australian Football Skool), The irony was that the AFS were told they would be outclassed yet won all 3 matches and won the tournament.
