The Duprees' 1962 Doo Wop rendition of the song, written in 1930 and used in a Broadway play at the time, but made famous in the 1942 classic film CASABLANCA, featuring GUIDING LIGHT's Nola Reardon's (Lisa Brown) fantasy that she, Quint and Kelly (Michael Tylo and John Wesley Shipp) were the three leads from the film, played by Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, and Paul Henreid.

@applefieldsforever With me, whenever I'm watching a classic movie on TCM or anywhere else, I find myself saying, so that's where Doug Marland got the idea for such and so related to Quinton and Nola. There are more of them then you may think. And that gives me a smile. :)

It's funny in a way that the reason I began taking an interest in truely classic movies is because of Quinton and Nola. Casablanca has always been one of my favorite movies of all time.

@QuolaFan1 I would hope so,as well. Michael has a natural talent for bringing out those true characters of the old films out in his performances.No one could ever play Humphrey Bogart like michael could make Quinton play and look.Lisa did Ingrid Bergman justice,and John Wesley-Shipp did an okay Claude Henreid here.Quinton could do it better in Now,Voyager with Nola.

@thia912002 I think it was very appropriate that we finally see this scene with As Time Goes By as the music choice. I'm sure both Michael and Lisa would truely enjoy it too.
