Airbus A380-800, Take off from inside cabin, Part 1

If I had to describe what it's like flying in an Airbus A380 compared to a Boeing 747; well it would be like trying to describe to someone the difference between driving a modern Mercedes or Audi (A380) compared to a Lincoln or Cadillac (747).

I still can't believe how incredibly quiet and smooth this aircraft is. I think the Americans have a long way to go before they'll catch up with this technology. The Europeans have done an incredible job with the design.
Sorry about the jerky camera....this was my first time filming from inside aircraft.

You did a good job! Especially seeing as it was your first time filming on-board an airplane. If you want it to be smoother, prop it up against the window for stability. I film when I fly myself (smaller aircraft), or when I ride the airlines. Either way, it isn't always the easiest thing to do. Keep it up!

If you notice the destination; this is a long-haul flight with a fully loaded cabin and fuel tanks. Compared to other planes I've flown this is in no way a "slow climb". In fact it's one of the fastest climb rates I've ever experienced in 20 years of flying in long-haul aircraft.

Much quieter than a 747 though, right? They've really succeeded in muting most of the engine noise inside the cabin. Compare that to the old 727s - you had to wear earplugs *inside* the cabin:P
