Dec 28, Ho Chi Minh City revellers celebrate Vietnam's victory in Southeast Asian football/soccer championship. Revellers on motorbikes, scooters, and on foot jammed streets and squares in downtown Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday night for several hours waving flags and banging pots and pans together.

  • it's mental in HCM city, the first time when i went to this city i stood on the pavement and waited to cross the ross, but after like 15 minutes i had no chance to cross the road.

    I miss vietnam

  • 2008.

  • this is the year vietnam beat both the Singapore and Thailand powerhouse for the Suzuki 09 cup.

  • I was in VN when this event took place. It was wild and CROWDED. It took me 30 minutes to walk 200 meters across 3 intersections. I literaly had to climb over motorbikes to get across the streets. However, I was glad I was there to witness the overwhelming MASS of people celebrating the soccer championship. I stayed at Norfork hotel facing Le Thanh Ton street, so I was kept up till about 4am due to the constant noise. Anyway, this video brought back great memories.
