I have to say, I have a thing for women of Mediterranean Europe. But if they can sing like this that is definitely a shot through the heart for me. A beautiful Woman with a beautiful voice. I'm sold.

At least you have the knack of seeing the positive in the negative. Notice the differences in opinion on Prina. I personally do like her voice, although, since I' not familiar with that part of the storyline, I'm not looking for the dramatics here; just vocal. But if I was watching Mary Westbrook-Geha, I would expet something else, simply because it is IN THE PRODUCTION where the text is expected to be brought to life.

For me, Prina is rather made for these extremely fast bravura arias where she can show her excellent technical skills.

I have to say this beautiful, but the voice is a tad dry- it doesn't portray Corenlia's anguish at this moment. Listen to the version I posted with Charlotte Hellekant under Marc Minkowski- its taken slower and you can hear the anguish in her voice.
