@SnowbirdFlock I saw this scenario played out before my own eyes just yesterday. One could say that by killing goslings a swan may be assuring that there is enough food for their own young or that they are naturally territorial. But, this is not an uncommon behavior among swan.

I saw that one. That was very sad. Still, I don't think swans normally "bully" geese just for the sake of being mean (as momz4me implies).

These were fortunate. There's another video on here similar to this, which shows a swan and its relentless attack on a family, killing a gosling.
