I usded to love this game back in 97, but it also pissed me off. I remeber playing a whole season and finishing 161-1 record. I I made it past the Division Series but lost in the NLCS to Atlanta 4 games to 2. That ended my career of World Series baseball and Sega Satur.

My mistake, I had World Series Baseball 1, and it probably was on easy mode. I liked 2 better.

Ah no sweat ... yeah the first one was really easy against the Ai ... really fun head to head though but had no challenge when playing the CPU ... world series 2 is the game to get if your gonna play the CPU.... give it a shot someday if you haven't .... try legend level really tough ... rotating camera is the only annoying thing about the game against the CPU... when you set the camera it will randomly rotate when the CPU takes the field.... doesn't ruin the game but they should a fixed it

yeah i just bought sega saturn today from my aunt for $40 with like 10 games and two controllers..and this game was with it...as well as daytona usa, virtua cop 1+2 and virtua fighter 2 and some others...pretty pumped

Congrats on that.... make sure to center the camera because it starts out kinda angled ... easy fix ... now play a season on legend level ... LOL ... good luck .... it's straight tough .... have fun though bro .... glad you got a Saturn ....

I love this game! It's the only baseball game I don't get bored of more than a few innings in. Just started my season with the Phillies today, beat the Pirates 7-3 in the bottom of the 13th inning, it was 3-3 since the 5th inning, managed to load the bases in the 13th, two outs, and Zeile smacks a grand slam in to win the game. I was so happy, lol. Also, love the 7th inning stretch. Between all the stats and stadiums and whatnot, SEGA really went out of their way to make this game feel realistic

I loved this game. My favorite thing about it was the fact that after a hit, it was a seamless zoom out. It didnt need to change camera angles like most baseball games, even todays games.
