This is game play footage of the mission "City on the Edge of Never" from Star Trek Online. This is personally my favorite mission. You learn more about the Kuvah'Magh, take a trip back in time (by means of the Guardian of Forever), help save a classic ship, and even get a better understanding about a question that has plagued Trekkies ever since we saw the first ridge-headed Klingons.

All in all, it is a very well written mission.

My apologies now for some parts of the video. FRAPS caused some lag during game play, forcing me to shut it down and not capture video.

  • @TehKraken721 Is your computer relatively new? Drivers updated?

  • @JerenYun Yeah for sure. I am still waiting for a response to help me out. I have no idea why I can't run Cryptic games.

  • @TehKraken721 Well, if they can help you get the game to run, it sounds like you'd have fun.

  • @JerenYun Yeah I got a trial key, and this game gets the same error. I put a ticket in, no response from that. So I'm just going to wait and see. The 10 seconds I was able to play seemed fun though? I guess haha can't really judge off of a few minutes of gameplay..

  • @TehKraken721 Star Trek Online has a fairly open environment. In comparison to SWG, it is similar (I think the original SWG was much more open and diverse, but such is my personal feeling). STO runs on the engine used for Champions Online. If that is giving you problems, perhaps you can give the demo a try. (startrekonline[dot]com/demo). It's free.

  • @JerenYun Well, I want something fun and addicting, something with very open environment and good combat mechanics. You know something good. I'm not a fan of Cryptic studios so much though, seeing as Champions Online always gives me the "Server Not Responding" Disconnects. But that is like the only game I can't run on my computer for some crazy reason.

  • @TehKraken721 What are you looking for in an MMO? There are some similarities to other MMOs with Star Trek Online.

  • Is this anything like Star Wars Galaxies? That's what it looks like. I'm just looking for a good MMO to play for a little, I got into RIFT, but it hasn't hooked me like I thought it would.

  • I know all, I am my own beginning, and I'M GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

  • this looks bad ;S, but really bad >.>
