@ercspy you can save it as an mp3 by installing the plug in called LAME mp3 encoder. you can find it right there in the audacity web page

hey man is it possible to record with just a guitar, amp, and auxiliary cable? if so what settings do you use (for the betta)?

@x19nguyen92x - You will need a little more than that. You'll either need a mic to put in front of the amp. Or some amps have a direct out that you could connect straight into the computer. If you go with the mic you'll need a preamp and a interface to convert the signal from analog to digital. I did a video on that - It's called 'How to record electric guitar for a beginner'. However you connect to your pc, in audacity go to the preferences menu and make sure you select the right input.

how can i save my recordin in audacity in mp3 or wav format cuz i cant save in a different than "aup" anybody knows

@ercspy - You can export to wav. It is in the 'file' menu. You can also export to mp3 with a plugin. It in on the Audacity wiki page.
