The going no where White Sox traded their classiest player late on August 31, 2009. The Dodgers better treat him right!!! My homage to my hero Jim Thome. Enjoy. Oh, and I am still a Sox fan, just not a very happy one right now.

Jim Thome knows the game well, and hes been on like what, 5 teams now, phillies, rockies, white soxs, dodgers, and whats the team hes on right now, i know he got traded again. but o well. Hes gonna be the next homerun king without steriouds.

@thefatman469 I'm a sox fan and... I was pretty sad that we had lost Dye, and Thome, but Jenks, he was a great closer before the second half of last year. Right now, I don't miss Jenks.

used to be a diehard sox fan until we started to lose dye jenks and thome and other old favorites only buerhle and konerko still stay on the team just hope i get tix to maybe see thome hit his 600th when he comes to town

I was really heartbroken when I learned the Sox were trading Thome, but what else hurts is that Jerome Dye virtually vanished. I have no idea what happened to him and he was an awesome outfielder. Some of his catches were epic. Too bad they gave up Joe Crede but I understand his injuries were a huge issue. I have back problems and have had surgery so if I were Crede I would retire. I don't understand why Scotty Pods was traded either. The Sox have fucked themselves. Still have Paul and AJ tho!

i went to the twins game against the tigers when he hit a triple it was so loud! thome is my favorite player ever even though everybody from mn loves mauer thome is my favorite mauer is 2nd though

I know gordon is going to be a big player like thome. Also Burley (I think that how u spell his name) will be on very good pitcher.

My dad said that paulie was next to leave with dye also. I like dye but we need a better out players. Also get a faster right field. CQ Is really SLOW
