Coach,

What happens if you drop your bat during play?

Andrew.

  • That opening point was pretty funny lol.

According to the ITTF handbook, for the playing arm, wrist up is the racket. That includes your hand.

  • @LightSpeed99999 Thanks!

  • What if the ball unintentionally hits the hand of a player's racket hand? Is that a fault or will the point be replayed?

  • @arnabghosh1991 If it hits your hand that you are holding the bat with, it's play on. If your shot goes on the play continues.

  • what if i do a heavy topspin shot, but loose the grip on my bat and it flys off and kills the other person do i loose a point?

  • @mrhotmale99 :)

  • what blade and rubbers do you use?

  • @tabletennisperson You lose the point. The bat needs to be in your hand when it hits the ball.

  • @CenaChaingangSolider No. You need to have the bat in the hand hitting the ball.

  • @sk8erstrue let me know when you get a chance :)

  • I don't think it's allowed when it falls on the table. This is a 'let situation' I've been told
