Metroid Zero Mission Walkthrough: 15 items hard mode Part 29

I used the new Video Annotations to correct a little data I had subbed. It might be of use to you. On hard mode you need 4 missiles or 2 missiles and a super missile.

This is the final piece of my 15 item walkthrough! You know him, you love him and hate him. It's meta ridley with a lot of info and a lot of laughter to back it up.
The reason you need to keep meta ridley in the back row is because his attacks (especially the claw.) are much more difficult to dodge. So focus more on that rather than killing him fast. (He can't be killed in a hasty manner in the first place.)

A note of something I need to mention: On my old video I was playing at 20 fps and had a hard time staying in the upper left corner because the computer was not picking up all of my button presses now that (once again.) since I'm playing at top speed I'm able to literally glue myself to the corner for most of the fight like I was trying to do in the first place. This however does not make fighting meta ridley, when he is in the front row, any safer for that matter. This is a recommendation for those of you using the emulator to record. So make sure your computer can take playing with the throttle setting of 0 (60 fps)

Sorry but I had to cut out the credits. The raw movie file (the unedited file) is 11:44 minutes long but I still preserved that picture at the end which signifies my feat.

Now that I've shown the rest of you "how" I want to see the rest of you "do". That is the people that know how to record this stuff. I did this entire walkthrough because I don't like the idea of being the only person that was able to do this crazy stunt. So I wanted to show every one else how to so that they can either be inspired to do so or know how to do. (dam too many verbs...)

Final Words: I've done enough for now. I have to get back to my original projects.

Why doesn't Ridley shoot any eye lasers horizontally? Is that luck or are you doing something specific? Those lasers always hit me and cause me to fall into his claw, which is what keeps messing me up.

he does. You can lure his head by space jumping. You'll want to lure his head midway not too high and not at the bottom.

Did you ever beat this game in 10% Hard Mode? I'm in Mecha Ridley and I can NOT beat him. He's so annoying without Super Missiles or Screw Attack.

I'm having problems too. I keep getting the glass casing off but then everything just gets so luck dependant with that eye laser. I spent a whole day fighting him and I only came close 4 times. I've never spent so much trying to kill a single boss before in my entire life.

At least I beat mother brain with 10 items on hard mode so far. I put that video up several months. Look for it.

I'll say this much, if I ever beat him. I probably will NEVER play this game ever again as long as I live.

Lol I cry and frustrated so many times but I finally beat this game on 12% .... but ! But ..... it is on normal !

Man , even on normal I struggle really damn hard to win , I don't know how hard is .

lol,and when i played this on hard,i had all but one energy tank,210 missiles,all S. missiles and i still could not beat him,only time i won i got very lucky...and i still could not beleive i beat the excape...
