Last video we checked our g-code to make sure our program was correct. Now we go out to the shop and do some work. We zero out the cnc plasma cutter and start cutting our aluminum stomp pad. Once we are done, we look it over and note the slag or dross we will have to grind off next.

  • I dont like the finish that plasma does to aluminium...

Is there a kind of plasma that is better?

I dunno cuz i tried a 1/2'' plate so maybe it was to thick

  • Hello brenck,

I agree with you on the finish. Aluminum seems to melt away vs. vaporized like steel. Then you get to clean it up extra.

I don't know if Hi-Def plasma cutting works better either.

I have seen aluminum that is laser cut and water jet cut. It looks good, just like you want it to.

  • Hi! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (should be on google have a look)? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my sister got really defined Six pack abs and lost lots of fat with it.

  • Oh hey! Have you thought about cleverous 402 diet (just google it)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my sister lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • @driaslow: wait what? is it a website?

  • hell yea so fuckin buttery ass

  • Great videos very helpful. I was just wondering if you know where I can find the file for that design.

  • Hello brenck,

Try cutting at higher speeds (and little higher current). I have experience with inox.

When cutting 1,5mm plate at 30mm/sec there is a lot of dross, at 100mm/sec the cut is virtually dross free (plasma gas is nitrogen)

Perhaps it works the same with aluminium.
