Rated excellent - thank you. Very haunting and wonderful. I'm experimenting with different visual contexts for music and I really love this - the sculptures and music and performing space work flawlessly together. Great video work - who did that?

Oh yeah, I've got that one in my collection, too. Yours is in my favorites. Have you seen my channel? Nice nebula for your background. Which one is it?

yes, but wjackman56, you cant spell the word "life" correctly on your profile, AND you state that music is your "hobby" - so your comment is a moot point. Me thinks you may be a bit jealous of one whose music is one's whole life?

It's easy to find spelling and punctuation errors in almost any writing. Thank goodness that is not the point of YouTube. The music and setting work well together to create a meditative mood. To my eyes and ears, the overblowing effects on this plastic recorder echo the roughly carved wooden figures. Ironically, I don't think you can get that sound on a wooden bass recorder.

thanks for the compliment ! - I love to hear this instrument played in the correct manner - however as you rightly pointed out the design and material of this instrument allow for some fairly wild performances...
have a look at a recently added clip (favourites section) on my channel for an example of pushing the bounderies !

I have never heard so much overblowing in my life. Then you add a very overdone"Flute" vibrato. The result is music that does not even begin to display the amazing sounds a Yamaha Bass is capable of producing.

haha ! overblowing goes on everywhere ! you only have to know where to look !!!
I agree about the yamaha being a unique instrument, try playing in my style on a traditional wooden bass ! I see you are into a more traditional performance which I much admire ! as for me, I leave that to the experts.
